Hi I’m Hayley! I’m a film photographer based in Buffalo, New York. I studied media and advertising at Geneseo, and later got my Art Education degree at Buffalo State; I am now a middle school art teacher and field hockey coach full time!

My love for film started while looking through old photo albums of my parents and family. Although our modern day phones and cameras take beautiful photos, seeing my parents photos done in film brings on a feeling of nostalgia that I found is hard to re-create with digital. Film has a way of making everything feel more timeless, emotional, and has that aesthetic that we all love!

I love to shoot on film for the nostalgic, vintage look, but also because it makes me slow down and be intentional about each photo I am taking as there is no endless supply.
